Hi I’m Eva! I am an illustrator and printmaker based in Edinburgh, Scotland. I am in my third year studying Illustration at Edinburgh College of Art.

I grew up in the coastal town of Stonehaven in the North-East of Scotland. Growing up I spent most of my time next to the sea and in the countryside. The Scottish landscape has deeply inspired much of my illustration work today.

I like to incorporate pattern and texture into my practice, often referencing organic patterns and forms I observe in nature. A lot of my work stems from everyday observations that begin in my sketchbook. I also like to share stories of people and place in my work.

I often use mixed media techniques to illustrate, from layering gouache and coloured pencil to paper cut! I also enjoy incorporating printmaking, like pochoir, linocut, screen printing and risograph, into my practice.
